Beginner Investing

This site has been designed and constructed by Kevin and myself, (Alan).

I started to invest some fifteen years ago. I had been working overseas and had built up a small surplus nest egg that was sitting in a deposit account earning small returns. I felt that there must be better places to invest my money but I did not know how or where.

Amongst other places, I looked on the Internet for advice and guidance. However as a novice investor and after prolonged research I ended up possibly more confused than when I started. Nevertheless I decided to take the plunge and go ahead anyway. Over the years I have taken an interest in investing and read the financial sections of newspapers and articles on the Internet most days. This has enabled me to slowly come to understand the financial language that is used and gain a good insight and understanding into various investments that are available today.

Kevin is the computer genius who put this website together.

Today Kevin is in a similar position to myself, as I was several years ago, in that he has a small surplus in his bank account and was wondering where he could invest this money in a more profitable way. Kevin turned to me as a friend and colleague for advice on investments.

After these consultations it was Kevin that suggested we build this web site to help others that maybe in the same boat and are looking for some straightforward investment advice that is clear understandable and without any financial jargon.

Together using our individual skills and knowledge we have constructed this web site to help you. We ask no money from you nor do we sell any products or service.
