WHERE TO INVEST

 

There are many and varied places to invest your money. These vary from safe investments to very risky investments. A safe investment is an investment where you have little or no chance of loosing your money but the returns are always small. Conversely, the riskier the investment the greater the prospect of better returns but also there is the greater prospect of loosing money.

Categories of investment

  • Savings account at a bank, building society or post office.

  • Bonds with the government or companies Commodities and money markets

  • Stock Exchange.

  • Unit trusts and Index Trackers.

  • Overseas stock markets.

  • Private investment
